We have seen the pain when continually failing valves are causing Engineers headaches, and keeping them awake at night.

Our Aim
Valve breakdowns are common place and high up on the list of painful problems for Plant Operators and Maintenance Managers.
Incorrect or inferior materials, or the wrong valve selection are the main reasons behind valves being unsuitable for what are generally severe processes.
This is not only time consuming and costly, but as we target net zero by 2050, we need to cut down on waste and emissions NOW.

'We've ALWAYS done it that way' is not ALWAYS the right solution.
We were recently asked to specify a replacement Triple Offset Butterfly Valve.
By first requesting confirmation of the process conditions (media, working pressure and temperature), we were able to determine that the valve that has been used for ALWAYS was hugely over specified.
Therefore a valve and actuator that had been quoted by other companies at between £12,000 and £13,000 with a 16 week delivery time, has now been quoted as a standard rubber lined Butterfly Valve including a site specific actuator, installed and working perfectly within 8 weeks of enquiry, with a saving of over £8,000.
